Cultural and library services will be developed in line with the city's strategy, the Culture Guidelines programme and the Library2030 programmes.The training and skills development needs outlined in the staffing plan will contribute to the project's objectives. One of the priorities of the project is staff competence, as staff development requires continuous training, identification and application of new good practices and tools.
The aim of the Culture and Library Services project is to develop the already existing knowledge of professionals in the service area and to find common ways of working within the new service area, between professionals from different sectors of the service. The project will enable multi-professional and diversity-enhancing training. The previous very positive experience with the results of the Erasmus+ grant encourages the continuation of this tried and tested form of training.
