Objectives

In line with our Accreditation Activity Plan, we promoted the following objectives: Objective 1: Strengthen the competences and motivation of youth workers and volunteers. Objective 2: Enhance young people's competences, personal development, and participation. Objective 3 (Activity Plan Objective 4): Develop the organisation's capacity and organisational culture. Objective 1 The mobility activity for youth workers in Malta (A2) enabled Finnish and Maltese youth workers to exchange expertise, particularly in the areas of good governance and school-based youth work. The mobility activity for youth workers in Luxembourg (A4) promoted the exchange of expertise and practical experience among youth professionals and volunteers from Luxembourg, Finland, Ireland and Lithuania on non-formal learning approaches that support young people's well-being and active citizenship. Objective 2 The youth exchange organised in Finland (A3) brought together young people from Finland, Ireland, Lithuania and Slovenia to explore and promote physical, social and mental well-being. The exchange also strengthened young people's participation, as they were actively involved in the practical planning and implementation of the exchange while developing competences in organising international youth activities. Objective 3 During the project period, we focused on strengthening the competences and capacities of youth professionals and volunteers, particularly in the areas of good governance, partnerships and the exchange of good practices. Our Czech partner became familiar with our foundation's governance practices and the local implementation of the DofE programme, including through activities organised by Mikkelin Nuorisoseurat (A1). The youth worker mobility in Lithuania (A5) strengthened both our organisation's and our partner organisation's expertise in recruiting and motivating youth volunteers, as well as in enhancing young people's participation in the planning and implementation of organisational strategic activities. As a result of the project, several concrete follow-up initiatives were agreed: Youth Exchange in Finland (2026) Youth Worker Mobility to Malta (2026) Youth Worker Mobility to the Czech Republic (2026) Youth Worker Mobility in Finland (2026)
