Objectives

The project aimed to improve the quality and innovation of youth work and education by equipping educators with practical competences in using LEGO Serious Play as an inclusive and participatory methodology. The objectives were to: - build the facilitation skills and creative confidence of youth workers and educators working in multicultural and inclusive contexts; - develop a practical handbook with ready-to-use methods based on real training experience and testing; - ensure accessibility of the project results through multilingual resources in English, Ukrainian and Russian; - disseminate and validate the developed methods through multiplier events targeting diverse stakeholder groups; - strengthen transnational cooperation between organizations working with migrants, refugees and minority communities. All objectives were implemented as planned and aligned with Erasmus+ priorities on inclusion, innovation and quality in youth work.

Background

The project Bricks with Meaning 2.0 was implemented to respond to concrete needs of youth workers and educators working with migrants, refugees and minority groups. These professionals often lack practical, inclusive and participatory methods that support communication, reflection and equal involvement in culturally and linguistically diverse groups. The project addressed the need for innovative and high-quality educational approaches that strengthen creative confidence, support inclusion and go beyond traditional verbal and theory-based learning. In particular, there was a need for non-digital, hands-on methodologies that allow participants to express ideas and experiences regardless of language level. Another identified need was access to practice-based resources in languages accessible to migrant and refugee educators. The project therefore focused on developing methods that are transferable, tested in real contexts and available beyond the project partnership.
