The objective was to leverage exchanges with international partners to enhance training practices at INSEP. This involved improving teaching methods and content, developing innovative awareness and prevention tools, and broadly communicating on the topic. The ultimate ambition: to promote gender equality, provide better support for female athletes, and strengthen their visibility, both at INSEP and across the wider sports sector.
Ex-aequo, a training program for the inclusion of women in sport, was created in response to persistent gender inequalities in France and internationally. Women remain underrepresented among coaches, federation executives, and licensed members, and high-level female athletes continue to receive less recognition. Aware of these disparities and also affected by them, INSEP has committed to making progress and supporting its staff in advancing on this issue.
