he project will be carried out in a Vocational High School (with the label « Lycée des métiers ») situated in a semi-rural location and geographically rather isolated. Each school year it welcomes about 340 students from a modest or disadvantaged background. Our students can be fragile, not much inclined to live outside their usual environment. Our role will consist in preparing them for professional mobility in a European frame and giving them appropriate language skills.
Our priority goal is to make them feel more confident and able to integrate well into a European area in order to develop their professional skills. To reach this goal, the project will try hard to : - develop their abilities to communicate in a foreign language; - prove the skills learnt in school within a new geographical context; - develop new skills which are specific to the host country; - give them the taste to discover new cultural and professional practices.
