Our objectives were to provide our students with greater international exposure, help them develop their language and vocational skills, and enhance their self-confidence through a work placement abroad. The project also aimed to strengthen cooperation with our partners in Spain and Germany. In line with the goals and commitments of the project, a total of 31 student mobilities were successfully carried out during the 2025–2026 period.
Our 2024 project, D.ES.I.RE 2026, was approved with a grant of €88,028 to support 30 short-term mobility placements for VET learners. Four mobility flows to Germany and Spain will take place in 2025 and 2026. This project continues an initiative launched by our institution in 2016 to provide international work-based learning opportunities for students, most of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds, thereby promoting further education, social inclusion, and improved employability.
