Objectives

The Polytech’13 project is carried out by the engineering schools of the Polytech network, the leading French network of engineering schools, which brings together nearly 18,000 students and awards more than 4,100 engineering degrees conferring a Master’s degree level qualification every year. The primary target group of this initiative is all engineering students enrolled in the Polytech network schools. In accordance with the requirements of the French Commission for Engineering Degrees (CTI – Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur), all students must complete both an industrial internship and an international mobility experience during their three-year engineering programme. This project aims to support engineering students’ mobility to European companies, enabling them to undertake their compulsory internships while fulfilling the international mobility requirement. Implemented since 2008, this project has enjoyed sustained success among students, faculty members, and researchers within the Polytech network. It has contributed to the development of a network of more than 800 partner companies across Europe, providing students with numerous internship opportunities. In the most recent edition, all available funding was fully allocated, making it possible to support 308 student mobilities.
