Our project aimed to strengthen our institution’s European and international outlook in the long term and to make mobility a driving force for professional development, inclusion and skills development. For our Higher Technical Certificate students, whose course includes a compulsory nine-week work placement abroad, the aim was to develop professional, linguistic, intercultural and digital skills, as well as independence, adaptability and employability. The students chose the following destinations: - Spain - Ireland - Germany - Italy - Greece - the Dominican Republic - the Netherlands (the Dutch part of Saint Martin) In the specific context of Guadeloupe, an outermost region of the European Union, we also wish to promote equal access to mobility, particularly for students with fewer opportunities, despite the constraints associated with its remote location. For staff, the project was intended to promote professional development, the exchange of best practice and an openness to other teaching and professional approaches. Staff on mobility programmes, meanwhile, took part in training courses and workshops in the following countries: - Spain - Ireland Finally, we aim to consolidate our internationalisation strategy and our network of partners by combining our European outlook with our Caribbean context, whilst ensuring that our actions align with the four priorities of the Erasmus+ programme: - Inclusion and diversity - Digital transformation - Green transition - Participation in democratic life and shared values.
