The main objective of this project was to extend the ERASMUS+ programme to a new group –students by apprenticeship – in order to support the newly introduced requirement for international experience. As this was the first cohort to which the rule applied, we wanted to promote the benefits of mobility in Europe and the ERASMUS+ programme beyond the purely financial aspects, as we are aware that these mobility opportunities will have a significant impact on the habits of future cohorts. At the same time, efforts continued to support the mobility of regular students, who are also required to have an international experience to graduate. This project introduced a major change to the way travel expenses were allocated, which was set to significantly alter the financial balance at a time when we were expecting a substantial increase in the number of participants. We therefore paid particular attention to budgetary monitoring, especially as the initial budget allocation was not large.
