The main objective of the project was to give our higher education programs (so-called BTS in French / 2-year degree) an international dimension while providing real educational and professional value to the instruction delivered both in the classroom and during internships in France. Through Erasmus+ mobility programs, we sought to offer students the opportunity to gain a rich experience, both professionally and culturally: being exposed to new work methods, a different environment, and practices -often different from those they were already familiar with- presented a real challenge for our students and a genuine strength that they will be able to highlight later on when seeking employment or advancing their careers. These mobility programs also aimed to develop students’ openness, autonomy, and adaptability, as these skills are now essential in an increasingly globalized professional context. The Erasmus+ program was implemented to enhance the employability of our students entering the job market. Similarly, internships abroad were designed to allow students to put their previous professional experiences in France into perspective and compare them with those gained in a foreign country. Furthermore, the students in question were enrolled in the NDRC (Negotiation and Digitization of Customer Relationships) program. As a result, the mobility program was designed to develop their communication, negotiation, and customer service skills in an intercultural context, particularly by creating, expanding, and even strengthening a professional network. Finally, another goal of the internship mobility program was to develop language skills, particularly in English.
