Objectives

The 2024 Erasmus+ project of Lycée Évariste de Parny significantly strengthened the internationalisation of the institution while promoting inclusion and diversifying mobility pathways. Although 24 mobilities had initially been planned, a total of 39 mobilities were eventually carried out, including 6 staff training mobilities. This increase was made possible through the efficient use of Erasmus+ funding and a proactive strategy aimed at providing international mobility opportunities to a larger number of students. The project enabled the diversification of both destinations (Belgium and South Africa) and mobility formats. For the first time, short blended study mobilities (SMS) were organised. These mobilities proved to be an important tool for inclusion, allowing students facing financial, personal or psychological barriers to long-term mobility to benefit from an international experience. To support these new forms of mobility, the institution developed a structured digital learning pathway on the ELEA platform, combining online activities, virtual meetings with partners and preparatory work for the mobilities to Berlin and Brussels. The project was also enriched by a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organised in La Réunion in partnership with the Haute École Lucia de Brouckère (Belgium). This programme brought together French, Belgian and Spanish students around an educational study tour focusing on the tourism market of La Réunion. It also benefited the wider educational community through several conferences and seminars attended by around one hundred students. Overall, the project contributed to strengthening the institution’s European dimension, enhancing the recognition of students’ learning outcomes and fostering a culture of international mobility throughout the school.
