Objectives

The Toulouse National Polytechnic Institute is a public higher education and research institution bringing together several engineering schools specializing in a wide range of fields, including aeronautics, computer science, energy, materials, chemistry, civil engineering, and agronomy. Its primary mission is to educate highly qualified engineers and researchers capable of addressing technological and societal challenges while contributing to the economic and industrial development of the region. The university is composed of central administrative services and three major engineering schools: - ENSEEIHT: National Graduate School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Hydraulics, and Telecommunications - ENSIACET: National Graduate School of Chemical and Technological Engineering - AgroToulouse: National Graduate School of Agronomy of Toulouse The target groups of Toulouse INP include engineering and master's students, doctoral candidates, faculty members, researchers, and national and international academic and industrial partners. The university's regular activities include: - Initial and continuing education through engineering programmes, master's degrees, and doctoral programmes. - Scientific and technological research conducted within laboratories jointly accredited with the University of Toulouse, focusing on strategic fields such as energy, materials, sustainable engineering, computer science, and industrial innovation. - Partnerships with industry and society, including the development of collaborative projects, internships, innovation initiatives, and technology transfer. - International mobility and European cooperation through participation in programmes such as Erasmus+, enabling students and faculty members to engage in international exchanges and collaborative activities. The Erasmus+ Programme is the main instrument supporting the institution's international strategy, and Europe remains the primary destination for outgoing student mobility (representing 70% of all outgoing mobilities). In accordance with the requirements of the CTI, an international mobility period is compulsory for the award of the engineering degree, with a minimum duration of 17 weeks. The objective is therefore to promote long-term mobility opportunities (from 5 to 12 months) for Toulouse INP engineering students. Whether undertaken as an academic semester at a partner institution or as an international internship, this immersive experience helps shape responsible, globally minded engineers who are capable of working effectively in diverse professional and cultural environments. Beyond the acquisition of technical and language skills, it also develops the autonomy and adaptability required to address today's global challenges. Toulouse INP also actively promotes international mobility among its academic and administrative staff. The objective is to strengthen their professional skills and international experience while encouraging the exchange of good practices, promoting collaboration, and reinforcing institutional partnerships. Finally, this project also aimed to launch Toulouse INP's first Blended Intensive Programme in order to further internationalise the institution and welcome partner universities to work collaboratively on shared challenges related to the internationalisation of higher education, particularly in the areas of European project management and the organisation of incoming international mobility.
