Our main objective in this project was to continue the process of internationalisation at our institution, which specialises in health and social care training. Due to the specific nature of these courses (a high proportion of work-study programmes, a wide variety of qualifications awarded, certification throughout the course, with no real equivalents abroad), student mobility remains a challenge for an institution such as ours, particularly with regard to study mobility. Thanks to the intensive hybrid programmes we have organised or taken part in, this form of mobility is nevertheless attracting more applicants, including those who would not have undertaken individual mobility schemes. This enables us to open up new opportunities for our students and to raise our institution’s profile by welcoming more European students and teaching staff. Similarly, the mobility of our staff strengthens our institution’s partnerships and international reach, whilst engaging them in new pedagogical approaches. The implementation of this project has therefore enabled us to continue our internationalisation process, open up mobility opportunities to new types of students, and enrich our teaching practices.
