English translation: Many of our students come from general, technological, or vocational secondary schools without having had the opportunity to complete an internship abroad. In addition, an increasing number of families are experiencing financial difficulties, and this nine-week internship represents a considerable expense for them, on top of tuition fees, as we are a private school operating under a state contract. This project enables our students to fulfil their academic requirements, experience an international working environment, broaden their horizons and, for some, discover multiculturalism for the first time. It also encourages them to pursue higher education in an international context. Furthermore, the project provides us with concrete examples that can be integrated into our teaching, particularly in subjects such as geopolitics and international relations. It is a valuable resource when discussing concepts related to free trade. It allows us to demonstrate to our students the advantages of being part of the European Union, not only as consumers but, more importantly, as learners. They become increasingly aware of the value of intra-European exchanges in fostering openness to others and enhancing the knowledge and skills they acquire. This experience helps them better understand the opportunities offered by European mobility and strengthens both their personal and professional development.
