IMT Atlantique confirms its position as a Technological University (TU) and internationalization is a key element of the 2023-2027 strategic plan. Collaboration with high-quality academic partners is a key component of IMT Atlantique’s international vision. The School has a twofold goal in building this network. First, it aims to establish and strengthen ties with top-tier universities to offer high-potential international students the opportunity to pursue their academic studies at IMT Atlantique through a dual-degree track in the engineering program or as free-movers in the English-taught programs offered within our National Master’s (MSc) degrees. This recruitment contributes to the development of a rich and diverse alumni community. Furthermore, the university aims to strengthen the international focus of French students’ education by preparing them for their future roles as scientists, specialists, or executives who are mobile and active on the international stage. The goal is to equip them with the skills necessary for the globalization of their professions and for the European and international job markets, while helping them become open-minded members of our society. IMT Atlantique is proud to claim the 3-star "Welcome to France" label, in recognition of its efforts to improve its welcome for international students. IMT Atlantique continues its commitment to meeting the 4 priorities : inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, ecological transition and European citizenship. Finally, in October 2022, the Institut Mines-Télécom, of which IMT Atlantique is a member, joined the nine partners of the EULIST (European Universities Linking Society and Technology) consortium, created as part of the "European Universities" initiative launched by the European Commission. EULIST aims to pool the strengths of each of its members to put technology at the service of society and its transitions. This membership should enable us to raise our international visibility through staff and student mobility. However, this membership is in the name of the IMT group, which is composed of 8 different schools, which means that the distribution of mobility is limited within each partner each year.
