Objectives

Long-term mobility projects under Erasmus+ for higher education primarily aims to offer students the opportunity to enjoy an enriching international experience while facilitating the development of academic, professional, linguistic and intercultural skills. This initiative seeks to strengthen employability and international openness by promoting inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunities in access to mobility. The goal of the project is to enable participants to discover new educational and pedagogical environments, improve their transversal skills, such as communication and problem-solving, and enhace their languages proficiency, thereby facilitating their adaptation to the different environnements. The programme also supports the modernisation of higher education institutions, pedagogical innovation, and the development of European and international partnerships. Long-term mobility allows students to earn academic credits for studies or training completed abroad, validate their professional achievements, and enrich their academic career. It contributes to better employability, greater cultural openness, and smoother professional integration. The programme also aims to raise participants’s awareness of the challenges of digital transformation, environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and active citizenship. Thanks to the project, higher education institutions can strengthen their European dimension, enhance international cooperation, share best practices, and develop innovating teaching methods. These exchanges contribute to the construction of a more supportive, inclusive, and future-oriented European Higher Education Area. In summary, Erasmus+ long-term mobility projects aims to educate competent, open-minded, and responsible European citizens who actively participate in the transformation of higher education and the strengthening of international cooperation.
