The 2024 Villages des Jeunes project, part of the Erasmus+ Youth accreditation programme, aimed to strengthen participation, inclusion and European cooperation through intercultural exchanges and collective learning spaces. In line with previous years, the aim was to encourage young people from different backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, to meet and enable them to experience ‘living and working together’ in a rural and supportive environment. The main objectives were: • to develop young people's personal, social and civic skills through community life, cooperation and creativity; • to promote the European values of respect, solidarity and commitment; • to encourage ecological transition and environmental awareness through practical activities in eco-construction, independent living and artistic creation; • to support the development of skills among facilitators and partners through a European training seminar.
