Objectives

Being in a phase of significant development, and faced with the increasing number and growing structuring of the projects we manage, we undertook the process of obtaining Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation. This accreditation, now granted to the association Murathènes, marks a decisive milestone in the development of the organization. It enables us to expand our scope of action within the department and across the territories impacted by our projects in Europe. Thanks to this accreditation, we are able to manage a larger number of projects while anticipating their long-term dimension. The management of our activities and the distribution of roles within the team have become more efficient and coherent, allowing us to work beyond the limited framework of individual project calls. Located in a highly rural area, we face challenges in reaching and mobilizing the most isolated or geographically marginalized young people. The geographic configuration of our operational area often limits equal access to the activities offered. Obtaining the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation therefore represents a key lever to optimize our human resources and improve accessibility for young people to the opportunities provided. It also allows us to increase the visibility, promotion, and dissemination of our actions across the territory, while consolidating our local roots. At the same time, the association Murathènes mobilizes an increasing number of young people and professionals. The core members of the association are committed over the long term and bring a range of complementary skills. Our partnership network, both at the European and local level, continues to grow, positioning the association within a strong dynamic of structuring and deployment of European actions. The objectives of the accreditation project were as follows: Pool competencies across the association’s territories of action This objective addresses a primary challenge posed by rurality: the difficulties associated with expanding networks beyond immediate proximity and local circles. Within the accreditation framework, the multiannual nature of the projects allows for a different approach to partnerships and ensures a higher quality standard for potential actors and partners. Ensure the sustainability of projects and partnerships in the long term We aim to establish reliability and continuity in our activities by enabling multi-year activity planning. Include young people in activities and project development This objective is closely linked to a fundamental issue in youth work: the sustainability of youth engagement. Exacerbated by the rural environment, this challenge is a top priority in our development plan. Develop links between different mechanisms and establish our organization as a concrete relay for European programs This objective reflects our intention to enhance accessibility to European initiatives for local youth-focused structures in rural areas. Provide full and equal access to cultural and/or social activities, primarily for young people We want our projects to benefit all young people in our territories without differentiation, prioritizing equality of access, inclusion, and diversity within the projects. Enable as many young people as possible to engage actively in artistic practices, without discrimination As an association promoting popular education, we consider art, and particularly music, as a social vector of learning and sharing. We aim to make musical practice accessible to young people who may not have regular opportunities, through collective practice and experiential learning. Highlight and value youth engagement Beyond facilitating youth involvement, as an organization, we seek to recognize and valorize the young people actively engaged in our territories. In summary, we aim to implement a dynamic youth-focused approach centered on European mobility projects. By considering artistic practice as a key social vector, we strive to bring together and mobilize diverse audiences, prioritizing the most isolated young people.
