Natural disasters are occurring one after another, and it has become urgent to protect the planet to address climate change. The European Union has addressed this issue and defined a "European Green Deal" that recognizes the role of training and types of education in ensuring a successful transition and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Ecology is one of the 11 objectives defined by the European Union for young people in 2018. This project, which seeks involvement and active participation, is linked to the program's priorities. To address this priority, we brought together teenagers from different countries where ecology plays a more or less important role to brainstorm together using participatory and interactive methods and non-formal and informal learning methods validated using the Youthpass document. Young people's commitment to ecology exists, but we wondered what they know about the concepts of sustainable development and ecology. Do they have the foundations and knowledge to become active participants in the fight against climate change and contribute to saving the planet as they would like? Can we strengthen their knowledge, recognize it, and promote mobility? How can they take action in various areas of daily life and on all aspects of ecology, and water in particular? Beyond ecological knowledge, we also wanted to guide participants toward democratic living, European civic engagement, and active participation in society. What actions should be taken to become responsible, active, and involved citizens, working together toward the same goal despite their differences? How can they raise awareness around them to leave a healthy planet and meet EU priorities? This project was intended to provide some answers to these questions, allow us to consider the role these young people could play, and see what they can do together for environmental issues (food, health, the environment, seas and oceans, etc.). Through it and sustainable development, our goals were to equip them with knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to ecology, and to encourage them to question their personal habits, change them to consume more efficiently, and modify their behaviors to combat global warming. To show them that they will be led to live together in a Europe that is still being built. Their different perspectives are a richness to be shared for the future, and their diversity will enable the construction of European citizenship. The objectives of our project were to: - Raise participants' awareness of sustainable development and climate change (knowledge) - Promote healthy lifestyles (sports, culture, etc.) - Develop and acquire skills and attitudes to be a "European citizen" (know-how and interpersonal skills) and express their sense of solidarity - Live an intercultural experience and raise young people's awareness of the other cultures, religions, languages, and histories they encounter, and understand their ways of thinking and acting to promote an understanding of diversity. - Exchange practices and skills among facilitators/support staff and enable the international outreach of partner organizations With this stay, we aim to create a sense of belonging to a community and instill European values: social integration, particularly for marginalized youth, understanding between different people, and cultural discovery. We wanted to encourage young people to: *participate in the democratic life of Europe, foster their active citizenship *help them find their independence *involve them in the design of the program and in daily life activities during the stay With this project, we wanted to improve and develop skills and abilities that young people, including those with fewer opportunities, could use and pass on throughout their lives. We wanted to help them acquire "political awareness" so that they could express themselves as "European citizens." Finally, we wanted young people and partners to contribute to the dissemination of the results through various media (press, discussions, social networks, etc.) to target groups identified at various local, regional, national, or international levels (families, friends, peers, decision-makers, institutions, etc.).
