Objectives

The Act for Gender Equality project is an Erasmus+ youth exchange bringing together participants from France, Spain and Italy, led by the Odyssee association (France) in partnership with Auryn (Spain) and Venti di Scambio (Italy). It aimed to raise awareness among young people about gender equality and combat stereotypes and discrimination, while promoting their active participation and personal development through non-formal education methods. The main objective of the project was to empower young people to understand, question and deconstruct gender inequalities, and to encourage them to become agents of change in their local communities. The specific objectives were: - to develop young people's critical awareness of gender inequalities and stereotyping mechanisms - to promote values of respect, inclusion and equality between women and men - to encourage civic participation and young people's expression on social issues - to strengthen intercultural, linguistic and social skills through international group work - to promote the creation of educational tools to raise awareness of these issues among other young people Through various activities, participants were able to experiment, reflect and express themselves freely on gender issues. By promoting intercultural exchange, collective reflection and creativity, Act for Gender Equality helped to strengthen young people's empathy, critical thinking, self-confidence and civic engagement.
