The “Building the Future Together” project was designed with clear objectives to address the needs of NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) youth while developing the skills of youth workers. 1. Empowerment of NEETs - Objective: To provide youth workers with the skills and resources to empower NEET youth in their communities. - Strategy: To train youth workers in entrepreneurship and mentoring program management, enabling them to pass on these skills to youth. 2. Entrepreneurial Skills Development - Objective: To equip youth workers with essential entrepreneurship skills, so that they can encourage NEETs to develop their entrepreneurial potential. - Strategy: To provide training sessions on a variety of topics, such as business planning, problem solving and innovation. 3. Strengthening Community Engagement - Objective: To promote active community engagement among NEET youth, by encouraging them to participate in local initiatives that foster their social and professional integration. - Strategy: To involve young people in the creation and implementation of community projects, thus stimulating their sense of belonging and social responsibility. 4. Improving Personal and Relational Skills - Objective: To develop participants’ personal and relational skills, such as communication, critical thinking and leadership. - Strategy: To integrate personal development activities into the programme, including group exercises and individual reflections. 5. Creating a Support Network - Objective: To establish a network of young people and youth workers across partner organisations, promoting the sharing of resources and experiences. - Strategy: To organise regular meetings and communication platforms to enable participants to stay connected after the end of the project. By implementing the project "Building the Future Together", the objective was to create a framework conducive to the development of youth workers' skills, while supporting young NEETs in their social and professional integration. These objectives aim to reduce the number of young NEETs and promote their empowerment, thus contributing to a positive change in their lives and in their communities.
