The project "Environmental Protection in Action" aims to significantly enhance environmental awareness and empower youth across seven countries by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to address pressing ecological challenges. By facilitating Mobility in Georgia the initiative seeks to educate participants about critical environmental issues, promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals, support youth work and inspire sustainable lifestyle choices among young people. Through workshops and training sessions, we aimed to empower youth workers to engage marginalized young people in ecological activities while developing effective action plans for their communities. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among organizations, the project aspires to create a network of environmentally-conscious individuals and groups dedicated to driving positive change. Ultimately, our goal was to cultivate a generation of informed and active youth who will champion sustainability, promote responsible consumption, and contribute to global initiatives like World Cleanup Day, Digital clean up Day, thereby making a lasting impact on their communities and the environment. The overall goals of the project were: -To Encourage active participation of young people in environmental decision-making processes and initiatives, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards environmental stewardship; -To Empower young people to become environmental leaders by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to initiate and lead environmental projects in their communities; -To bolster collaboration between the European Union and Eastern Partnership nations, and to empower non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia; -To educate our youth workers on the importance of World Clean Up Day and Digital Clean Up Day, highlighting their significance in promoting environmental awareness and action; -To inform participants about UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recognizing their significance and objectives; -To Encourage the active engagement of multiple environmental organizations in addressing environmental issues is vital for fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly future; -To Develop strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of project outcomes, including capacity-building initiatives, institutional support, and community ownership of environmental initiatives. Our TC "Environmental Protection in Action" aligns closely with Erasmus+ objectives and the European Green initiative. We aim to: -Promote learning mobility and active participation among youth workers. -Foster innovation in environmental practice and policy.- Design environmentally-friendly project approaches to inspire greener actions among participants and organizations.
