The “Food as a means of social transformation” project was aimed at project leaders and coordinators who, like us, were encountering tensions around food-related issues in the course of their projects. For associations committed to promoting more responsible behavior, food has become a real medium for action and awareness-raising. It's a sensitive subject that can both bring well-being and create tension. In the intercultural context of Le Créneau and its partners, this subject is exacerbated by cultural differences, where everyone has their own definition of “good eating”. In these conditions, offering meals with little meat, avoiding exotic fruits or out-of-season vegetables creates tensions. Through this seminar, we wanted to create a space for exchange and creativity for educational partners facing the same issues: - reflect on food-related issues: gender, ecology, inclusion - share and create educational tools and content: innovative approaches, educational content adapted to societal challenges - use digital tools to multiply impact Convinced that food can be a powerful lever for social transformation, we wanted to analyze and take a step back from the ways in which we approach the issue of food in our projects, and create tools to improve the pedagogical quality of our projects.
