The Embodying Health project aimed to address the growing challenge of mental health well-being by promoting psychomotor and somatic practices, as well as the use of tools to encourage discussion on the mental health of young people and youth workers. By combining innovative methodologies such as the teaching of psychomotor and somatic practices, mental health education, and creative activity in collective intelligence, the project aimed to equip youth workers with tools to support people experiencing anxiety or mental health disorders and promote sustainability within their communities. The objectives were to create learning opportunities for youth workers, design an inclusive methodology to combat anxiety, strengthen diversity and inclusion in youth work, and improve the quality of teaching practices and emotional agility around the topic of mental health. Additionally, the project aimed to strengthen European networks and build a shared identity around sustainability, inclusion, and mental well-being by creating media materials to open up discussion about silent and invisible suffering. Through these objectives, Embodying Health sought to empower individuals and organizations to effectively address mental health challenges and open up dialogue on the topic.
