Objectives

Our project was a continuation of our action aimed at promoting the mobility of young people far from engagement systems (Appel à projets : « Favoriser l’Accessibilité du Service Civique à l’international »). Our objective was to consolidate the work by addressing youth educators in direct contact with these young people. By training them in the tools of Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity (ECSI) and by giving them access to a better understanding of youth mobility schemes, we wanted to create an overall impact on youth engagement. By intervening at this level, we aimed to strengthen the skills and resources of educators in order to allow them to better support young people, particularly those from priority neighborhoods of the city or disadvantaged backgrounds, in their civic engagement and their international solidarity actions. Furthermore, we wanted to facilitate the exchange of good practices between educators and partner organizations. By promoting collaboration and coordination of civic engagement initiatives, we wanted to strengthen the impact of these actions and contribute to a more coherent and effective approach to youth work. The project aimed to create, at the end of a training, a guide to share the knowledge and the tools built during the training. We wanted this booklet to serve as a valuable resource for educators and partner organisations, thus facilitating the implementation of educational projects in different contexts and strengthening the sustainable impact of our initiative in the field of youth work. There were therefore multiple objectives for this project, both in bringing together education and integration professionals from different countries and in producing resources and perspectives for future projects.
