Engagé·e·s & Déterminé·e·s (E&D) network, after 30 years of supporting young people in their international solidarity and citizenship education projects, launches the DémocraSI project to decentralize international solidarity by involving elected officials at all levels of decision-making. By equipping youth and involving them in innovative projects, DémocraSI aims to promote active political participation at the local level as a meeting point between different levels of elected representatives. This project, deployed from October 2024 to October 2025, aims to broaden the scope of action for young people in advocacy by training them to understand international issues and translate them at various levels of competence, from local to European. By engaging them in meetings with different officials, it aims to strengthen their legitimacy and capacity to influence public policies, thereby contributing to a more participatory and inclusive democracy.
