Our goal was to enhance CeKaTe’s adult education programs by learning how other organizations promote inclusion, accessibility, and innovation in cultural learning. We aimed to integrate new methods that support social dialogue, immigrant integration, and lifelong learning. The project sought to diversify our curriculum, foster creativity, and expand opportunities for community participation while strengthening our international cooperation, staff competencies, and institutional growth.
CeKaTe, founded by the City of Zagreb in 1979, is a non-profit public cultural center dedicated to education, art, and active community engagement. This project arises from CeKaTe’s continuous effort to strengthen its social impact and modernize its educational offer. Through this project, we aimed to learn from host organizations about internationalism and integration, gaining insight into effective practices that promote inclusion and intercultural understanding within adult education.
