The aim of the project was to strengthen URIHO’s capacity for work and social inclusion of persons with disabilities. The focus was on improving staff competences, developing digital skills, gaining insight into inclusive hospitality practices, and empowering persons with disabilities through new knowledge, experiences, and increased employability.
URIHO is a sheltered workshop operating on the open labour market and employing around 515 workers, of whom 300 are persons with disabilities. In addition to production activities, it provides adult education programmes focused on developing work-related and social skills. The project builds on this by strengthening competences and fostering a more inclusive approach through international cooperation.
