Overcoming skills mismatch and addressing the needs of the labour marketWork-based learning

Objectives

We wanted to provide our students with the opportunity to improve their professional skills and competencies related to their field of work, with a focus on new trends, innovation in work processes, and knowledge of new technologies. The goal was also to enhance their English language proficiency and speaking confidence, as well as develop social skills such as adaptability, communication, cooperation, and the ability to build professional relationships, key aspects of interpersonal skills.

Background

We applied for the project to better support the integration of our students into the labor market. After graduation, they need knowledge of new types of devices and equipment used in healthcare, awareness of trends such as integrated elderly care, telemedicine, robotics, and understanding a holistic approach to health through the application of integrative practices combining traditional medicine and alternative therapies to improve patients' overall well-being.
