Countries: HR · Grant: €59,959

Objectives

By implementing this project, we wanted to raise awareness among young people about mental health, highlight the importance of prevention in safeguarding mental well-being, and contribute to the destigmatization of mental illness. Through workshops, role plays and debates, participants were educated and engaged in open dialogue about these topics. Another objective was to strengthen the capacities of participants and partner organizations by facilitating training and exchange of experiences with organizations, which have expertise in working with migrants and with the organization who aren't so experienced. This exchange provided valuable insights into how to foster the inclusion of young people in their communities. By implementing study visit, we wanted to strengthen the capacities of our organization and participants by gaining concrete knowledge, tools, and inspiration through direct dialogue with other organizations and their staff. One of the main objectives was to be exposed to innovative practices and approaches that could be integrated into our own work, thereby enhancing the quality and impact of our activities. Furthermore, the project aimed to lay the foundations for future international cooperation on initiatives focused on mental health, social innovation, and active youth participation. Finally, as part of the dissemination activities, a practical e-booklet was created to share knowledge and methods developed during the training course and a toolkit with well being tips on the youth exchange.
