Objectives

With the project, we aimed to advance the long-term objectives of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation by strengthening the quality of youth work and promoting value-based leadership and social entrepreneurship as tools for sustainable development and the green transition. This year, we placed a particular focus on empowering youth workers with the competencies necessary to engage young people meaningfully, while developing the organisational capacity of OAZA and our partner network. The objectives of this year’s activities were twofold. The first objective was to improve the professional development of youth workers. We sought to enhance youth workers' knowledge and skills in non-formal education, leadership, and social entrepreneurship, which would increase their organisational capacity for implementing youth activities at both local and international levels. The second objective was to gradually activate young people as community leaders of the green transition. This activity represented an initial step towards creating opportunities for young people to connect across borders and gain exposure to practices that can be applied in their local communities. It was also about providing young participants insights on identifying their community needs and designing projects for a sustainable change.
