The accredited project for 2024-24 had total of 4 activities (3 originally planned and one additional, approved by national Agency): Objectives of this accredited project were: Objective 1: Ensure more opportunities for young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, to engage in non-formal education and Erasmus+ projects, addressing the rising demand for participation. Objective 2: Support young people in developing and implementing their own projects that address identified needs or problems, inspired by their participation in Erasmus+ programs. Objective 3: Develop training programs to enhance the skills and capacities of youth workers and volunteers within Impress, fostering a stronger and more competent team to support organizational growth and international activities. Objective 4: Promote the recognition of youth work and non-formal education by implementing quality projects that highlight their value, contributing to a shift in perceptions locally, nationally, and internationally. Each project activity had its own objectives. By delivering this project and its activities, our main objective was to expand Erasmus+ opportunities, especially for young people who had not previously experienced participation, with a particular emphasis on youth exchanges. We focused on engaging young people with fewer opportunities, including those in less favourable socio-economic circumstances, ensuring that the project reached individuals who would benefit the most. To guarantee that the project generated meaningful outcomes, we collaborated directly with young people and to explore and co-create project ideas aligned with their interests, needs, and ambitions. This approach led to the development of projects centred around volunteering – as we are active ESC organisation, we are constantly reaching for new young people to give them the opportunity and we included those who want to use this opportunity but to empower them. Our partners and their young people had similar needs so we developed comprehensive project where all volunteering details have been covered, young people exchanged experiences, concerns and ideas. Same goes for “EQ in modern life” where young people shape topics and ideas around their interests on topics of EQ in relation to modern, online living. In addition to responding to the needs of our young people, we also carefully considered the needs of our partner organisations and their respective target groups. Based on partner feedback and previous success, we delivered a training focused on developing high-quality Erasmus+ projects. Impress had already organised a similar training several years ago, which was highly valued by our partners. Since then, there had been ongoing interest in implementing another training of this kind to further strengthen the capacities and skills of youth workers and youth project coordinators. This activity was designed not only to support the creation of new projects based on the needs of young people and organisations, but also to contribute to the overall quality and sustainability of our collective future work. Due to remaining financial means, we additionally organised PBA where we reconnected with some of our old partners and to get a chance to meet with new ones – to discuss common ideas, plans and concerns and to create projects, topics and strategy plan for following 2 years in order to strengthen our partnership and provide more opportunities for young people and youth workers. Throughout the project and all the activities, we placed a strong emphasis on promoting non-formal learning and youth work.
