This project was born from the idea, but also the need to bring children and young people closer to and familiarize them with the digital world in a different way than they are used to. Although the vast majority of our participants, as well as the general population of users with whom the Forum for Quality Foster Care of Children and the Zvezda Center work, have grown up and grown with technology and everything that the digital world offers, the fact is that they consume it in a way that is not necessarily in line with the idea of digital well-being. This project aimed to present the idea of digital well-being and digital competences to young people who live or have experience of living in foster families, institutions for children without adequate parental care and similar forms of alternative care, i.e. this population of young people with fewer opportunities, but also to make them aware of their own patterns of behavior on the Internet and the way they use digital tools, and to introduce them to some new digital tools that have an educational, creative and useful purpose in their private and professional lives. It also aimed to create an additional link between their digital well-being and metal health, i.e. to introduce them to the idea that the way they use and/or create content on the internet and their general "being" in the online environment can have positive, but also extremely negative consequences for their mental health. Finally, this project once again wanted to promote the idea of tolerance, peace, togetherness, respect for religious, ethnic and cultural diversity among young people from Croatia and Serbia.
