We wanted students to increase their knowledge of assessing their own values and skills in the area of entrepreneurial thinking. Teachers also wanted to improve their skills in transmitting these types of knowledge in each subject. Above all, it was to increase their interest in the world around them, in which there are many problems The project also wanted to achieve the following: - better contact with reality involving economic entities and the production of various creative materials based on what was seen in the field. - participation in a large number of workshops and meetings, conversations, developing entrepreneurial skills and ideas, spreading a sense of usefulness. - development of skills related to work in tourism and food and transport, which are important segments in the economy of port areas - raising awareness among students and the environment about the place in which they live, through the past, present and future, strengthening the English language as a language of communication, -connecting with new people and learning about life in different conditions - development of key competencies - emphasis on the ecological and civic dimension
Our three schools have always been committed to Erasmus because we believe that it is a program that opens many doors and connects differences in the best possible way. Education in modern times requires the acquisition of multiple skills and knowledge that are not achievable in the regular teaching process. Observing the structure of schools and their everyday lives, we concluded that we would gain a lot of new experiences by connecting with other European colleagues. The needs we wanted to meet were the strengthening of our own values within the European civic dimension, with a special emphasis on developing critical thinking and entrepreneurial visions in teachers and students. All partners in the project come from similar regions and that is why they are so complementary. The lack of European experience was the main motive for working on the project. Also, together we realized that we have a common point in the port as the foundation of the region's existence. We saw in this a great opportunity to gain new experiences.
