We have developed the following objectives: 1. Shift to more inclusive, participatory pedagogical approaches which better serve learners and increase participation of learners with fewer opportunities. 2. Build organisational capacity to shift to greater participation of target groups in developing our education programme & embed our values. 3. Acquire new competencies in psycho-emotional health to support educator & learner wellbeing; retain staff; & ensure programme quality.
Human Platform delivers community-based education to support active citizenship, foster social inclusion and reduce marginalisation. Yet we are experiencing: 1. limits in our pedagogical approach to meeting needs; 2. lack of involvement of beneficiaries in designing and delivering community education programmes and a lack of skills in long term strategic planning; and 3. well-being challenges affecting programming & impact. This mobility addresses these key needs.
