Objectives

We aimed to boost learners’ sector-specific English and professional competences (hospitality, car mechanics), strengthen digital and problem-solving skills, and improve equity for participants with fewer opportunities. Teachers’ job shadowing targeted methodological and digital renewal. We built a sustainable network with host companies and disseminated good practices across the school.

Background

Our VET school (Szolnoki SZC Klapka - https://klapka.szolmusz.hu/) trains, among others, in hospitality/commerce and mechanical engineering, supported by a strong dual-partner network. Local employers demand practical, digital and English skills; many learners have fewer opportunities. As part of our internationalisation strategy, we ran a practice-oriented mobility in Greece, focusing on inclusion and the pedagogical renewal of our staff.
