The Accreditation 2024 project has the main aim to contribute to the development of youth work both in Hungary and in Europe through the extensive partnership of the project, through empowering both young people and youth workers through methodological trainings, seminars and youth exchanges; building on Egyesek’s experience from both local and international youth work of 25 years. The Accreditation makes it possible to build the activities holistically on each other, creating continuous development opportunities and transferability between different activities. The objectives of the project: Increasing quality and recognition of youth work Strengthening professional and personal development of youth workers Promoting and increasing integration and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through youth work Empowering young people to take responsibility and initiative; raise their awareness of their own capabilities to become active citizens and build resilient communities. Additionally, unlike previous years, after the first 3-4 years of successfully implementing Accreditation projects, we are also focusing on more knowledge transfer, opportunities, and activities to reflect, evaluate and re-shape certain aspects of the educational content of our programs, keeping what works and is still highly relevant and bringing in innovation and new approaches where it is needed. For this, we have conducted an intense needs assessment process in 2024-2025, including deep interviews with Egyesek staff members, shorter interviews with over 20 partners of Egyesek and a needs assessment form sent to previous participants of Egyesek. The results of this process have been analysed in the last PDA of the project, Generation Ga(s)p and we are already building our future Educational Strategy based on this.
