The aim of the project was to increase young people's participation in community life by developing the skills of youth workers through low-barrier, short-term voluntary actions. The partner organizations shared their experiences and best practices during the mobility, and a booklet containing volunteer actions whic was produced through joint work. This practical booklet is intended to provide an immediate toolkit for youth workers, volunteer coordinators, and professionals working with young people. The booklet, which resembles a cookbook in appearance, attracted more attention from interested parties during its subsequent dissemination, so a wider audience began to actually use it. The goal was to produce an English-language booklet, but during the follow-up phase, the partners translated it into their own languages to make it even more widely available in the partner countries. It is available in 6 languages. In the long term, our project contributes to building a society where the younger generation takes responsibility for social challenges, where young people are coming together and becoming more involved instead of indifference. Low-barrier volunteer activities help to attract new volunteers, reach those with fewer opportunities, and overcome the lack of time that is typical among young people. To this end, our project aimed to provide youth workers with tools and methods during the mobility and through the publication to engage young people in interaction and cooperation, promoting the development of a sense of community. During the system development and follow-up phase, we encouraged the participating youth workers to put in practice a number of options, so they organized a number of voluntary actions tailored to their own environment and actually started the activity by organizing local actions. Sharing these experiences with each other was also a goal, which was achieved in the WhatsApp group ensuring the inspiring effect on the participants.
