Kállósemjén is a disadvantaged settlement in the Nagykálló district. Young people are emigrating. The youth municipality is working to create the "Ifi-tanya" Youth Club in response to the needs of young people. The Youth Council is made up of 17 active young people, but a broader base is needed for long-term success. The aim is to offer a community space and programmes in which young people can participate in a wide range of activities that help them prepare for active participation in society. The project is already contributing to the cultural and social life of the municipality, and the youth council is treated as an equal partner by the council, local institutions and NGOs. The youth club gives young people the opportunity to become active participants in the life of the municipality. It promotes equal opportunities and encourages young people to participate actively in civic life. The project supports Youth Participation Activities.
