The objectives of this project are to make our staff more aware of Adult Education delivery structures in other countries, create a greater degree of Internationalization in our adult education provision and learn from and incorporate best practice in Adult Education delivery. This will help to inform our adult education sector restructuring and make staff more amenable to the potential changes that may be required through their knowledge of what is happening in the sector at a European level.
CETB is undergoing a process of structural change in line with the department of education Further Education College of the Future strategy. As part of this change we are looking to create better structures for our adult education provision. This will include better support structures for both staff and learners. Through this project we plan to give staff an opportunity to examine alternative adult education structures in other countries and bring this knowledge and best practice to their work.
