We want to ensure we are offering educational experiences that will have the biggest impact in us achieving our overall aim. We also want to create novel and impactful learning opportunities for adult learners in the region and beyond. To do this we need to create a panel of facilitators that are highly skilled in different areas relevant to our work. By doing these job shadowing and courses and bringing the knowledge back to Síolta Chroí.
Síolta Chroí has an adult education environmental education centre where we run courses and retreats focused on ecosystem restoration and similar topics. The main group we work with are adult learners from rural Ireland. This includes farmers, food growers, community groups and people interested in sustainability. We are developing our panel of trainers to work with groups across these different areas. We want to send them to upskill in different areas of our work.
