In implementing this project we wanted to begin greening our VET services, firstly by minimizing the impact we are having on the environment by thinking through all aspects of course delivery and how they can be delivered in a more sustainable way. We wanted to build a Climate Action focus in our organisation so that staff will develop this understanding and begin to implement it in their work. We wanted to start thinking about Green Skills courses for the workplaces of the future.
As an education and training provider committed to life-long learning, we are determined to address how we provide our services. Collaborating with and learning from peers across Europe will be hugely helpful in creating behavioural & systemic change across Kerry ETB in addressing Climate Change. We look forward to collaborating with our EU colleagues as we work towards a Green Transition and delivering Climate Conscious training in a sustainable manner within our organisation.
