The Agora project aimed to enhance the professional skills of cultural youth workers by training them in political theatre methodologies to address social and political issues with young people in their communities. The objectives included equipping youth workers with practical knowledge of methodologies such as Theatre of the Oppressed and Verbatim Theatre, enabling them to use theatre as a tool for advocacy and change. It also aimed to amplify the voices of young people by providing platforms for them to express their concerns through performance arts. Additionally, the project focused on fostering sustainability and inclusion by supporting participants from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds while prioritizing environmentally friendly practices. The outcomes were documented through a film and written resources to ensure the accessibility and broader dissemination of these methods.
