The Institute “Fermi-Eredia” in Catania hosts 700 students in technical and vocational education. Most of them come from medium-low socio-economic and cultural background and choose the Institute in order to enter the labour market. The unfavourable employment context and the deeper specialisation required to workers make it fundamental to engage in re-motivation activities, combat drop-out and strengthen the students’ professional profiles in terms of soft, digital and technological skills.
