Objectives

The project set three goals: empower students by enhancing language, social and citizenship skills; promote inclusion of disadvantaged learners, ensuring 70% participation from low-income or special educational needs backgrounds; and reinforce CFP C.E.S.T.A.’s reputation as a quality training provider by showing families that international paths are possible even in a disadvantaged area. Mobility abroad was designed to build confidence, expose students to new careers, and strengthen community.

Background

CFP C.E.S.T.A. operates in the Basso Ferrarese, an inner area marked by depopulation, ageing, weak labour market and low education levels. Over 63% of residents have only basic schooling, creating a gap with companies seeking skilled workers. With 121 learners and 42 teachers, the centre delivers inclusive VET (mechanics, catering, beauty, fishing/aquaculture) to prevent drop-out and support disadvantaged youth.
