The project's overall objective was to contribute to enabling change in the education and training system at the organizational and cross-sectoral levels, improving the quality of work and practices of the organizations and institutions involved to more effectively respond to their shared needs through transnational and cross-sector cooperation. The specific objectives pursued in relation to the highlighted themes and needs were: -Increasing the attractiveness of initial VET by creating the right conditions for greater permeability between different levels of education, particularly between school education and higher vocational training. -Developing and promoting inclusive and accessible educational environments based on the principles of equity, integration, and equal opportunities, reducing the risk of "ghettoization" of the VET system while simultaneously increasing the perceived quality of educational programs, facilities, and services. -Reducing the dropout rate and school dropout rate when choosing a higher education level. -Define an innovative IeFp training orientation model.
Starting from a reflection on the risk of school dropout and how the IeFP system has taken on a significant burden of "integration and inclusiveness," with the risk of ghettoizing students with greater difficulties, it was deemed necessary to discuss how the IeFP system can simultaneously ensure inclusion and quality of training. The need was identified in strengthening the attractiveness and orientation process towards vocational training. Guidance means enabling students to be aware of themselves, their personality, potential, and abilities. The primary purpose of the guidance counselor is therefore to guide students throughout their studies, assisting them in choosing the school best suited to their aspirations and aptitudes. Furthermore, the guidance counselor must help them develop an assessment of their skills (hard and soft skills) and their professional goals. Starting from these assumptions, a heterogeneous and cross-sector partnership shared practices and experiences, discussing measures to mitigate the risk of ghettoization of training and, at the same time, improve the positive and attractive perception of VET.
