The project aims to offer transnational mobility opportunities for people with intellectual disability, promoting accessibility, inclusivity, and equal opportunities in the Erasmus program. The specific objectives are: - Enhancing accessibility and inclusivity of Erasmus mobility opportunities - Promoting peer support and empowerment for people with intellectual disability - Creating collaborative partnerships and sharing good practices in the field of intellectual disability
The project is designed to address the need of people with disabilities to feel part of the community and not second-class citizens, offering them unique opportunities for growth and self-confrontation. The project also wants to combat the stereotypes that people, and very often their families themselves, have about intellectual disability, which frequently undermines the opportunities that can be offered to this target group.
