The main objective of the KA1 mobility project was to improve the quality of Eureka’s educational and organisational activities by strengthening the professional competences of its staff. In particular, the project aimed to deepen knowledge of the principles of the circular economy and environmental sustainability, integrating them into adult education programmes and the organisation’s everyday practices. A further objective was to develop advanced time management skills and the use of digital technologies in order to optimise administrative processes, reduce paper use and make activities more efficient and environmentally friendly. The project also aimed to encourage the adoption of innovative approaches through the exchange of European good practices and the strengthening of an organisational culture oriented towards continuous improvement.
The Eureka organisation operates at local level with the aim of promoting lifelong learning and social inclusion through educational, cultural and volunteering projects. Its activities are addressed to children, young people and adults, with particular attention to families, preschool and primary school teachers, and people with fewer opportunities, including immigrants. Eureka offers Italian language courses, STEM educational activities, initiatives for mothers and children, and projects aimed at exploring and enhancing the local territory. The organisation works in close cooperation with other local stakeholders, such as the Fondazione Albero della Vita, and mainly operates within the local community of Ponte Felcino, in Perugia. The project is embedded in this context and aims to strengthen staff competences, particularly in the fields of digital skills, organisational development and environmental sustainability.
