The main objective was to create innovative, game-based tools to raise awareness of gender stereotypes and promote equality in professional contexts. The project sought to combine research, adult learning principles, and gamification to engage participants emotionally and intellectually. Specific goals included collecting and analysing good practices, conducting focus groups to identify real workplace needs, co-designing three educational games, and developing dissemination activities to ensure the sustainability of results. The ultimate aim was to foster inclusive organisational cultures and empower individuals to recognise and challenge bias in daily work interactions.
The project was developed to address the persistent influence of gender stereotypes and unconscious bias in workplaces, especially within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These organisations often lack structured resources and training to promote equality, inclusion, and diversity. The partnership recognised the need to find new, engaging methods to raise awareness and encourage behavioural change. By applying to Erasmus+, the partners aimed to explore how play-based learning could make discussions on gender equality more accessible, interactive, and transformative for adult learners and working environments.
