Objectives

The overall objective of the project reflects the accreditation goals as well as the learning objectives of the young participants and youth workers involved, following specific needs analyses carried out prior to the organisation of the activities. These included, among others, the acquisition of transversal competences, acceptance of cultural diversity, school engagement, and intercultural learning. A1) “Ecominds” (Youth Exchange – Programme Countries) The Youth Exchange focused on the relationship between wellbeing and sustainability, exploring green practices that foster inner balance and awareness. Participants experienced nature based activities aimed at stimulating personal reflection, mental calm, and connection with the environment. The programme included active observation exercises, outdoor explorations, ecological mindfulness moments, and practices enhancing direct contact with natural elements. A2) “Ecominds APV” (Preparatory Visit – PV) The Preparatory Visit aimed to enable mutual acquaintance among the respective Group Leaders and to collect and align shared ideas regarding logistical and organisational aspects. During this activity, Group Leaders also defined and shared the thematic contributions that each national group would autonomously develop. Administrative and documentation rules were discussed, shared, and formally approved. A4) “Disconnect To Connect” (Youth Exchange – Programme Countries) This Youth Exchange explored digital wellbeing, with specific attention to fostering a balanced relationship with the internet and online media. Participants reflected on their digital habits, recognised signs of overload, and developed strategies to protect their emotional and relational balance. Activities encouraged individual reflection and peer exchange, alongside exercises centred on enhancing the quality of offline time. A5) “Disconnect To Connect APV” (Preparatory Visit – PV) As above, the Preparatory Visit was dedicated to coordination among Group Leaders, alignment on organisational aspects, thematic planning, and agreement on administrative and reporting procedures. A6) “Out Loud” (Professional Development Activities – Partner Countries) The Professional Development Activity was addressed to youth workers engaged in the promotion, impact, and dissemination of their Erasmus+ projects. The training focused on the key issue of “dissemination versus promotion” within Erasmus+ programmes and explored emerging communication trends to effectively reach both young people and institutions. Activities included workshops and practical tools aimed at strengthening participants’ competences in promotion, communication, and dissemination strategies. A7) "Youngsters Out!" (Professional Development Activity – Programme Countries) The aim was to carry out a job shadowing experience for one InCo staff member at a highly experienced partner organisation in Cyprus, which has created an “Impact Hub” in a rural area affected by depopulation and dispersion. The result was the acquisition of new methodologies to generate local impact, learning how to make better use of the opportunities provided by the programme, such as PDAs and Youth Exchanges. A8) "Youngsters Out!" (Professional Development Activity – Programme Countries) The objective here was to implement a job shadowing experience for four InCo staff members, including employees and volunteers, in order to enhance the recognition of youth work through hands-on activities and the transfer of hard skills to young users of the “SCN” centre in Groningen, the Netherlands.
